Pure Veg Restaurant in Patna — No Onion, No Garlic Options Available

4.9★ from 42,345+ guests 5th Floor, Pillar No. 55, Samanpura, Raja Bazar, Indrapuri, PatnaLunch 12:00 – 5:00 PM · Dinner 7:00 – 11:00 PM · Open all week

Ghoomar has never had meat, egg or fish in the building. That matters for more than a label: the same pans, the same oil, the same prep boards and the same staff handle every dish, so there is no question of cross-contact for families who keep a strict vegetarian kitchen at home.

Beyond pure veg, we run a dedicated Jain line. Onion, garlic and root vegetables are excluded end to end — separate tadka pans, separate serving spoons, separate service station. It costs nothing extra; you simply tell us when you sit down or note it while booking.

During Savaan and other observance periods, the whole thali can be served satvik. Many Patna families book with us specifically for those weeks because a full celebratory meal that still respects the rules is hard to find outside the home.

We fast through Savaan and this was the only place that served a full satvik thali without us having to explain everything twice.

Where Patna's veg families find us

Raja Bazar sits between Bailey Road and Indrapuri, so we are a short drive from most of the residential belt of west Patna. Large family groups arrive regularly from Rajendra Nagar and Kankarbagh too — call ahead and we will hold adjoining tables.

Frequently asked

Is Ghoomar completely vegetarian?

Yes — 100% pure vegetarian with no meat, fish or egg anywhere in the kitchen, and no shared equipment with non-veg cooking of any kind.

Do you serve Jain food without onion and garlic?

Yes. The Jain thali is prepared on a separate line with its own pans and serving spoons, excludes all root vegetables, and costs the same ₹545 plus GST as the standard thali.

Can you cater for Savaan or fasting days?

Yes. Satvik thalis are available through Savaan and other observance periods, for individual diners and for full family bookings.

Is alcohol served?

No. Bihar is a dry state and Ghoomar serves no alcohol — the drinks list is chaas, jaljeera, lassi and seasonal sherbets.
